Joanna Yi, from the forever shining city of Las Vegas, attends Ed W. Clark High School as
a Senior and is proud to serve as the 2020-2021 State President. She is excited to see
both the organization and the members grow through experiencing the State and National
Leadership Conference and creating bonds with other fellow members. Joanna will share
the benefits of what FBLA has to offer through her leadership skills acquired from her
previous positions. She has been the State Southern Region Vice President and a manager
and captain on the tennis team. She has been an active and proud member for four years
placing: 1st in E-business, 1st place in Website Design, 3rd place in Global Business,
and 1st place in Website Design. Joanna has also achieved the Business level of the
Business Achievement Awards and the Service level for the Community Service Awards.
Joanna strives to attend an ivy league and to obtain a PhD to prepare herself in
becoming a Cardiovascular Surgeon. She is very passionate about sports and loves to hang
out with her friends. From her experiences as a fellow member and state officer of this
organization, she can be sure that FBLA will contribute to the success of many.
Cameron
Lee
Vice President of Membership

Cameron Lee, a junior from the city of Las Vegas, attends Edward W. Clark High School and
is excited to be the Nevada FBLA’s 2020-2021 Vice President of Membership. Cameron
has been a dedicated and active FBLA member since freshman year. He is passionate about
FBLA and the business field thanks to his involvement in Clark High School’s
Academy of Finance. At SBLC, Cameron has placed 4th in Business Calculations and 1st in
Business Financial Plan, Management Decision Making, and Introduction to Business.
Outside of FBLA, Cameron is the treasurer of Clark’s National Honor Society and
member of DECA and Key Club. He likes to practice coin and card tricks and listen to
Lo-Fi music. After high school, Cameron plans to study both Business Administration and
Accounting and get either his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or go to
graduate school to get his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Cameron looks
forward to a great year working with the 2020-2021 state officers and creating bonds and
connections with all of FBLA’s members.
Arianna-Gia
Carino Ferrer
Vice President of Media

Arianna-Gia Carino Ferrer, Nevada FBLA’s VP of Media, age 17, and still 4’11
inches tall. Arianna is a senior attending the magnet school West Career and Technical
Academy, where her reign on being an FBLA officer continues from her last term of being
their chapter’s secretary after being a member for one year. She is currently in a
medicine program and strives to be an industry leader in psychology. Her interest in
leadership has encouraged her to join Student Council her senior year as class
Secretary. She is also a National Honor Society member. Arianna aspires to become
someone who is seen as reliable and enthusiastic during her term as Nevada FBLA’s
VP of Media. Her goal for this year, especially as it’s her senior year, is to
enjoy her time, work on becoming a better person, and work smarter!
Kirsten
Calma

Kirsten, an upcoming senior at Ed. W. Clark High School, is elated to be your 2020-2021
Nevada FBLA Vice President of Public Relations for the second consecutive year. FBLA has
allowed Kirsten to have a voice in not only her school, but in Nevada. After high
school, she plans to major in global business and economics in her near future. Outside
of FBLA, Kirsten is the director of one of her school’s magnet programs: The
Academy of Finance. She is also involved in her school’s tennis team, National
Honor society, and Library For All, a non profit organization she co- founded. Kirsten
is honored and excited to work with her fellow Nevada FBLA state officers and she hopes
to inspire members through hard work, excellent communication, and dedication.
Caroline
Long
Northern Region Vice President

Your Northern Region Vice President, Caroline Long, is a senior at Reno High School. She
has been a part of FBLA since her sophomore year and is a two-time state champion for
Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure and E-Business. Caroline maintains a rigorous
course-load in school by taking five AP classes, while also competing on her
school’s varsity swim and rifle teams. She is also President of Reno High’s
Community Service Alliance and serves on the Reno Diocesan Youth Council. After
graduation, Caroline plans to attend college and double major in Engineering and
Business so she can pursue a career in Construction Management. She loves engineering,
graphic design, writing and art. She is thrilled to be a part of the Nevada FBLA officer
team this year and cannot wait to make this year one to remember.
Jennifer
Yu
Southern Region Vice President

Jennifer Yu, your 2020-2021 Southern Region Vice President, is an incoming senior at Ed
W. Clark High School. She has been an active member of FBLA since her freshman year and
recently served as her chapter’s treasurer for the 2019-2020 year. Jennifer also
served as her school’s tennis team manager for the same year. So far, Jennifer has
earned recognition from reaching the Business level of the Business Achievement Awards
and the Community level of the Community Service Awards. She has placed first in
Accounting I and second in Publication Design during previous SBLCs. In the future,
Jennifer hopes to major in computer science with business at a University of California
school to become a computer scientist for her career. Utilizing the experiences and
growth from her time so far in FBLA, Jennifer hopes to inspire and connect with members
throughout Nevada. She is excited to work with her fellow state officers and ensure that
members can have the amazing experiences she had.
